The offices of Prospero House were located on Lexington Avenue near 35th Street. This modest concern did not aim for best sellers but rather for books that deserved to be published because they would interest select readers for generations to come.

Prospero House was owned by Jonah Kensington, a longtime friend and confidant of Jackson Elias, and the publisher of all the late author’s works.
